Application open for "My first pitch" competition

All startups start with an idea. If you are a student or researcher and want to develop your innovative project into a viable business, "My first pitch" competition is for you. It is a great opportunity to present your idea in public, get first feedback from a jury and win a coaching session with an experienced startup coach and Business Angel. 

"My first pitch" competition is designed to offer students and researchers an opportunity to test their presentation skills and receive first feedback on their innovative projects in a supportive environment. To join the competition, you just need to record a short video (max 3 minutes) in English or Italian and upload it through the following link https://bit.ly/3WPrgTo before the 22nd of November. The top 5 candidates will be invited to present their project live in the "elevator pitch" format at the Business Ideas event organised on the 24th of November at Campus East in Lugano by USI and SUPSI as part of the federal training program Innosuisse Start-up training.

The jury, composed of representatives of Privilège Ventures, a local VC firm, and students participating in the Privilège Student Ventures, will provide feedback to all the finalists and choose the winner. The 1st prize is a 2-hour coaching session with a startup coach and Business Angel with 20+ years of experience who can give a boost to the development of your startup project.
