From research to startup

“From research to startup” is an information event organised by USI Startup Centre in collaboration with Research and Transfer Service (SRIT) for researchers interested in better understanding how innovative ideas or research findings can be transformed into startups and learning about support measures available for early-stage science-based entrepreneurial projects. Through expert presentations, the participants will get an overview of the critical path from invention to receiving grants and raising funds from investors, enriched by first-hand testimonials from startup founders.

The event is held in English and available both in person and via streaming.

11.00 – 12.00  Developing and financing your startup
                        - BRIDGE funding instruments presented by Christian Brunner, Head of BRIDGE
                        - Panel discussion with investors on raising funds from Venture Capitalists

12.00 – 12.25  Founder perspective on what it takes to build a startup with Aliper Therapeutics, BigOmics Analytics & Regenera

12.25 – 12.30  Closing

12.30 – 13.00  Networking lunch
