Startup Week 2024: Dive into the world of startups and innovation

The startup week organised by USI Startup Centre is back on campus for the third time from September 30th to October 4th. It offers Bachelor and Master students an opportunity to get acquainted with the world of innovative entrepreneurship from different perspectives and meet startup founders, investors and experts behind different support programmes.

Tuesday, October 1st  - Lugano

Join this interactive session to discover how to find co-founders, what questions to address at the beginning of your startup journey and which team dynamics to be aware of. 

The event will be hosted by Talent Kick, a swiss-wide free programme that brings together talented students from different universities and provides the essential knowledge and tools to form an effective, complementary and strong co-founder team for their startup.

Mini workshop: Learning about startup investing
Friday, October 4th - Lugano

Try on the “venture capitalists” suit and get a taste of how investors source, evaluate and support promising startups. During this meeting, you will also discover how students can gain experience in the venture capital space, learn from professional investors while studying and support talented student founders with real money through the Privilege Student Ventures initiative.
