Dicronis

Lymphedema is a chronic and progressive condition caused by an accumulation of protein-rich fluid in the body’s tissues, often as a side effect of cancer therapies. Early detection is often unfeasible until after visible swelling appears, when treatment options are limited. Dicronis aims to solve the problem with the first non-invasive and remote lymphatic activity tracker, combining fluorescent microneedle patches and an optical wearable device to monitor lymphatic function. This innovative technology enables detection before symptoms appear, allowing physicians to prescribe the most effective conservative treatment for patients.
