Meet new startups joining the USI Startup Centre incubation programme

On Thursday, 19th November, starting at 18:00, the USI Startup Centre will host the fifth edition of the Incubation Kick-off Pitch, a recurring event where startup teams recently admitted to the incubation programme present their science-driven projects to the university community. The startup teams, who are building cutting-edge solutions aimed at tackling specific needs across various sectors, from ICT to Biotech, will take the stage to present their projects and engage with the audience through a Q&A session, offering more insights into their journey and responding to questions.

If you are interested in startups and curious to explore new industries and connect with like-minded innovation enthusiasts, the Incubation Kick-off Pitch is the right event to attend. Each participating startup will have 10 minutes to pitch their project covering all key details, from market opportunity to core technology and business model, followed by a Q&A session, where all the attendees can ask questions delving deeper into any specific aspect. This dynamic format encourages interaction paving the way for valuable connections and future collaborations with other startups, researchers, students, and stakeholders from the local innovative ecosystem.

This time three startups from different sectors, from ICT to Biotech, will be showcasing their projects tackling very specific needs:

• BIMINI Biotech - a startup developing novel modulators of Wiskott Aldrich syndrome protein for oncology and other indications.
• GraphSight – a startup that provides advanced solutions for renewable energy production forecasting.
• Shootify - a startup that transforms basic garment photos into stunning, professional on-model images using AI.
