USI Hackathon 2019 - Making Data Alive

USI Hackathon 2019 is the first hackathon organized by USI Università della Svizzera italiana, through the CodeLounge team at the Software Institute (USI Faculty of Informatics).

The event starts on Friday evening, November 15, and ends on Sunday afternoon, November 17. In addition Ated4Kids organises a “Mini-Hackathon” for families, on Saturday, November 16, from 10AM to 4PM.

USI Hackathon 2019 features two tracks: coding and data analysis. In the coding track the teams with the best tool or prototype will be awarded, whereas in the data analysis track is all about producing the best data analysis.

The City of Lugano will provide real data collected by the Lugano Living Lab initiative, which through the analyses carried out during the USI Hackathon could have a positive impact for offering future innovative services for citizens.
