USI Startup Centre alumni startup Lighthouse Tech SA closed seed financing round securing 500,000 CHF to improve the quality of life for people with visual impairments thanks to its smart eyewear frame.

Lighthouse Tech’s flagship product, the LTH01 smart glasses frame, combines advanced sensors and real-time haptic feedback to enable people with visual impairments to move around safely and independently without compromising on comfort and aesthetics. The first version of this innovative product was showcased at major international trade fairs, such as CES Las Vegas, and has been tested and validated by over 100 users.

In 2024 the startup received several awards and recognitions in Switzerland and abroad, including the second stage of the Venture Kick programme and gathered significant interest from potential customers. This funding round led by KAPSLY Ventures marks another significant step in setting up mass production and bringing Lighthouse Tech’s cutting-edge assistive technology to the market.
