Skypull
As the world continues to seek more sustainable energy sources, traditional wind turbines face limitations such as high material costs and limited efficiency due to low-altitude wind speeds. Skypull harnesses high-altitude wind energy through an innovative airborne system. It consists of a ground-based generator connected to a fixed-wing drone via a tether. The drone, flying in strong upper-altitude winds, pulls the cable, which in turn drives the generator to produce electricity. The result is electricity production with 95% less material than standard turbines, while delivering up to twice the energy output. This makes clean energy cheaper than fossil fuels and more accessible worldwide.
