Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve and can lead to vision loss or blindness. Due to its silent progression and the lack of continuous, non-invasive monitoring tools, traditional treatments often miss critical fluctuations. Sensimed developed a solution based on micro-systems integrated in a contact lens for the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and other eye diseases that enable deeper understanding of each patient's ocular behaviour and earlier intervention.
